Skimmers & Accessories

This section covers pool skimmers and accessories: skimmer nets and baskets, solar skimmer robots, pool alarms, lights, and cleaning tools. The roundups compare fit, build, power source, and upkeep using manufacturer specifications and published owner feedback. Skimmer gear should match the pool: baskets and lids are sized to a specific skimmer, and solar skimmer robots depend on sunlight to keep running. A pool alarm adds a layer of warning, but it does not replace a fence or an adult watching swimmers.

Start with the best pool skimmers. What is a pool skimmer explains how the built-in skimmer and its basket work.
